Time for a sketch challenge:
Today's sketch challenge was difficult for me at first because I actually found it kinda boring and had to really think how to stay close to the sketch but decorate it up a bit. I thought using the Home & Hearth framelits with the Happy Home stamp set worked out perfectly. Since the window is looking outside, I tried to use the textures on the Mint Macaron cardstock to make it appear like wallpaper inside a home. I am soo ready for Spring and wanted my tree to appear like it is blossoming and used the Many Marvelous Markers to color on the stamp, then used sponges to fill in the sky and grass area's. Always need some sort of embellishment and the Mint Macaron Dotted Lace Trim is absolutely gorgeous in person, the photo's in the catalog do not do it justice !!! A few flowers from the Itty Bitty Punch Pack, add some Pearl Accents and voila! card complete.
thanks for stopping by today,
